My fiance and I have decided to go with the less traditional cupcakes for our wedding and for-go the traditional cake and cake cutting, etc. Any thoughts on this, pros or cons? Is it too trendy? Will we miss not having a cake cutting ceremony, pics etc...? Let me know your thoughts!

We are going to go with a top layer to keep for a year and make a bunch of cupcakes. You don't have to forgo the cake cutting ceremony, just cut a cupcake! That is what I was planning on doing.
